Occupy Zionism for Justice and Freedom is an American Jewish advocacy group. We work for Jewish safety and defend Israel’s right to exist. We also believe that close allies must be free to disagree with honesty and care.
Who we are
American Jews lead OZJF. We take no outside donations, so our costs are paid from within the group. OZJF has no plan to pass laws and does not lobby for bills. For safety and privacy, the team shares few personal details. Our leadership statement explains why.
What we stand for
Israel has a right to exist. Jews have the same right to self-determination as other peoples. The United States lists Hamas as a terrorist group. Palestinian civilians are still civilians, and the laws of war still apply.
How we work
OZJF publishes research, essays, and teaching tools. Our work covers Hamas, Palestinian rule, U.S. policy, antisemitism, peace deals, and the history behind today’s disputes.
Our research pages link key facts to public sources. Examples include the State Department’s terrorist organization list, the Taylor Force Act, and the ADL audit of antisemitic incidents. You can read our mission and values and editorial standards to see how we do the work.
How we are structured
No foreign state directs OZJF. We are not tied to an Israeli political party. Our governance page sets out our rules, conflict policy, and programs. We also name the outside programs we support, such as Lox & Loaded.
