A reading list is one of the cleanest ways to show intellectual seriousness. It tells readers where to go when they want the long version, not just the talking point.
Current status
The route is public now because the need is obvious even before the curated lists are fully posted. For the moment, the research library, methodology page, and sources page are the best live substitutes.
